Metal Machining + SolidWorks

The product of my Machine Design and Manufacturing class is the design of a Stirling engine. I created a scale model assembly of the engine in SolidWorks, using a combination of pre-designed and open design parts. Since the output was required to be a rotating flywheel, I decided to rotate the standard design of the engine to create a box with a spinning record on top. I manufactured these parts on a lathe and a mill using techniques taught in the class, the finished it using [finish]. During testing, the engine reached [RPM].
