This show was built around one primary setting: a locker room for a high school swim team. As a swimmer myself, I took inspiration from various old locker rooms I had been in throughout my life. These spaces guided a set of specific grounding details: wall mildew, heat sheets on the lockers and pinboard, and drains drilled into the foam floor. I also added props that could have been left behind from practice: old towels, goggles, flip flops, pool noodles, kickboards, and a water weight. All accents and set decorations are in shades of blue, evoking the idea of a pool against the grey floor and benches and the beige walls.
